Refunds & Cancellations

  • Cancellation policy applicable for booking done as guarantee booking This is to inform you, prior to confirm your booking which need guarantee booking that our normal cancellation policy mentioned immediately hereunder will not be applicable for your booking.


Charges on cancellation per person will be applicable as following:


Hotels:

  • Hotel Bookings can be cancelled for free before 48 hours from the date of Check in.
  • For same day cancellation of domestic Hotels, Star Holiday will charge 50% of booking amount per room as standard cancellation charges, over and above the Hotels own cancellation charge.
  • For no-show on domestic Hotels, Star Holiday will charge Rs. 100% of booking amount per room as standard cancellation charges, over and above the Hotels own cancellation charge.
  • For all offline cancellation of domestic Hotels, Star Holiday will charge 50% of booking amount per room as standard cancellation charges, over and above the Hotels own cancellation charge.

Holiday Packages:

  • If cancellation is made any time not less than 11 days prior to departure, 20% or INR 15000/- for International and Domestic INR 7500/- (whichever is higher) shall be deducted.
  • If cancellation is made 10 to 05 days prior to departure, 50% of tour cost shall be deducted.
  • If cancellation is made 05 to 01 day prior to departure, 75% of tour cost shall be deducted.
  • In case passenger is no show at the time of departure, 100% of tour cost shall be deducted.
  • Cancellation charges for Star Cruise booking shall apply as per star cruises cancellation rules. It will be extra than the other cancellation charges.
  • Cancellation charges for Air Asia ticket booking shall apply as per Air Asia cancellation rules. It will be extra than the other cancellation charges.
  • If your booking is having travel tour components which need guarantee of booking, in that case no cancellation will be allowed once booking is made for you. Therefore general cancellation policy mentioned above will be superseded by the following cancellation policy:
  • If cancellation is made any time once the booking is confirmed irrespective of number of days prior to departure, 100% of tour cost shall be deducted.

Your refund after cancellation:


Refund Policy

The refund shall be processed within 15-20 working days from the date of the cancellation request received. If we have received the payment through a valid credit card, then the same will be refunded to your credit card. Payments made using any other form of payment i.e. Cash/Cheque/NEFT/RTGS will be refunded by cheque within a maximum of 20 days from date of cancellation of Package/ Hotel / Flight.

All refunds shall be processed subject to processing of refunds by the respective Vendor/Hotel/Airline/service provider. Please note convenience fee given at the time of booking will not be refunded.
